The Little Lion (lat. Leo Minor) is a faint constellation of the north. Precipua is the brightest star with a magnitude of 3.1, it is located on the eastern edge of the constellation. In Leo Minor numerous binary stars can be found.
How to spot Leo Minor
In 1687, Johannes Hevel, a Danzig astronomer, composed the constellation of faint stars between Leo and Ursa Major. He could recognize the stars by using a telescope.
